Solid manufacturing company seeking strategic leader responsible for establishing purchasing procedures and negotiating key materials and commodities. Will direct materials functions to include production planning warehousing, shipping/receiving, logistics, and buying. Responsible for managing, directing, and controlling the purchasing and materials function, including raw materials, operating supplies, and packing supplies, to ensure daily operation of the plant in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner. Also responsible for customer orders and production schedules to ensure customer service, scheduling, and production objectives are achieved while minimizing inventory investments.

Strong negotiation skills and BS degree required
