Materials Manager

Duties:

As Materials Manager you will be responsible for purchasing, production planning, warehousing and inventory control. Emphasis will be on your experience in purchasing/buyging and production planning. You will supervise a staff of five.

A college degree along with a minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing industry is required, The right candidate will have strong leadership skills in planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting. This position requires excellent problem solving skills with strong detail and negotiating abilities. It is important for this person to be a team player and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of industrial purchasing experience; C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. or equivalent, and B.S. in Business desirable. Ability to reduce inventory and apply lean principles is essential.
